Lady Nelson's visit to the Gippsland Lakes
Monday 26th February
Arrives on the Gippsland Lakes from Hobart, Lady Nelson can be viewed coming across the bar at Lakes Entrance from Bullock Island and along the walkway from Kalimna to North Arm - listen to local radio and follow our Facebook page for exact arrival times. She will be stopping at Metung Wharf for a couple of hours before continuing on to Paynesville

Lady Nelson will be moored at the Paynesville Main wharf
Thursday 8th March

Sail Across Bass Strait from Hobart to Paynesville, arriving to coincide with The Paynesville Classic Boat Rally – 1st weekend in March 2018
There are two separate trips, each of approx. 7 days duration sailing from Hobart to Paynesville 20th – 26th February 2018 & Paynesville to Hobart 8th – 15th March 2018
Where we go and where we stop will all depend on the weather gods.
Over the 7 days these are the possible legs of the voyage (reverse for return leg)
Voyage One - Hobart to Paynesville
Depart Hobart Tuesday morning February 20th. With Skipper Mal Riley you will travel the length of the spectacular Tasmanian East Coast, learning about the wildlife and coastal region and having an opportunity to assist the crew. Possible itinerary, subject to weather and the skipper - 20th Overnight Port Arthur, 21st Port Arthur to Wineglass Bay and stay overnight, 22nd early morning departure for Flinders Island, 23rd arrive Lady Barron Island around midday and stay overnight, 24th Lady Barron to the northern tip of Flinders Island and anchor overnight, 25th possibly one of the Sisters Islands departing early to arrive Lakes Entrance on the 26th. An early morning crossing of the Lakes Entrance bar is planned, with crowds and media to line the shores to welcome Lady Nelson on her first trip to the region. You will then travel through the Gippsland Lakes past Metung arriving in Paynesville in time for the Boat Rally.
Voyage Two – Paynesville to Hobart
The reverse of the trip above, join the Lady Nelson on the morning of Thursday 8th March.
This journey has the potential to be more flexible with no time constraints.
All meals on the ship provided and we do cater for special diets. What to bring: you will need sleeping bag and pillow and clothes for wet weather (cross fingers not to be used) and gear for walking and swimming. A more detailed list will be given when you book. Lady Nelson does not provide alcoholic beverages but feel free to BYO.

Deposit $100 non-refundable. A full refund will be offered less deposit up until January 12th 2018. No refunds after January 12th. We recommend you take out travel insurance.
As a prospective passenger, you are welcome to visit the Lady Nelson one weekend for a look over the ship.
