The Paynesville Classic Boat Rally Presents. Breakfast with Max Curtis And Kim Bull On Sunday 9am June 25th at the Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club Paynesville Max will be talking about the great history of Speed Boat racing on the Gippsland Lakes. Great old pics of the Boats and the stories that go with them. Kim will be doing "Bulls Banter" an interesting talk about the history of Bulls Shipyard legendary Boat builders on the Lakes. Kim has compiled a great list and pics of the Boats built by Bulls and is also the President Of the Victorian Council , Australian Power Boat Association”. Both the men are very highly regarded in their chosen sports.The Cost will be $20 a head which includes an Egg and Bacon Breakfast Tea Coffee or Juices. Of Classic Boats and owner/operators of trailable boats, which fit the descriptions approved by the committee will be displayed in the carpark and on the grassed area adjacent to the esplanade.
The program for exhibitors will be:
6pm GLYC- Meet and Greet Friday night from 6.00pm. Official Launch 7.30pm - Registrations & Safety Briefing for competitors
Set up Saturday morning from 7.30am on the grassed area between the GLYC carpark and the Esplanade. Your location will be advised.
The events officially get under way at 11.00am, but there will be activity from much earlier as participants get organised.
Shut down Display area from 5.00pm, depending on level of activity and your own arrangements.
Participants may wish to attend Saturday night festivities at GLYC at their own cost - buy tickets on Website.
Sunday morning will be independent events and all events will be over by 2.00pm when GLYC resumes its own program and everyone packs up and leaves their area clean and tidy.
As this is a very low cost event there is no arrangement for overnight security or extra lighting so the responsibility for supplying marquees, power & security of displays etc. lies with exhibitors.
The Rally organisers will do what they can to help but their main priority will be the Rally and Rally participants.
The money raised will be used for advertising etc. to make sure this event has as many spectators and participants as possible.

This information applies to trailer boats in the car park area.
The car park will be closed to the General Public from Friday afternoon. Spaces will be allocated to boats and their locations will be advised before the event begins. The Friday night event is for participants in the Rally Parade and associated events. Sponsors and display participants are welcome to attend and drinks are at bar prices. There is a very tight schedule for this night.
Saturday 11am - 5pm - (Sail past time may change due to weather conditions)
Classic Boat sail past along McMillan Strait, view this colorful spectacle from the shores and wharves, with a program and commentary. On completion of the sail past boats will be moored along the wharves, share the history, craftsmanship and sheer pleasure of classic boats all in one location. See displays and activities all about boats & boating.
Commencing at 7pm
Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club
This will be an opportunity for Rally Entrants to pick up their registration pack.
Entrants, members (Friends of the Rally) and Sponsors will enjoy a glass of beer, wine or soft drink on arrival and nibbles. Visitors to the area and special guests will be welcomed. A safety briefing of the following days events will be given.
